? Service Background
Europe is one of the most important export regions for our country's kitchenware, small kitchen appliances and other products. However, European legislation on food contact materials is complicated and law enforcement is also frequent. Once unqualified products are found, the goods will be seized, returned, or even destroyed.
Framework Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 sets out general safety requirements for all food contact materials. In addition, specific measures have been introduced to plastics, recycled plastics, regenerated cellulose film, ceramics and active and intelligent materials at EU level. For other types of food contact materials (i.e, coatings, adhesives, and paper) for which there is no specific EU measures, a majority of EU Member States have set their own national provisions on food contact materials and substances, such as LFGB 30,31&33, DGCCRF, DM 21/03/1973.
NG28 provides testing services for food contact materials in the EU, Germany, France, and Italy, etc.

? Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long is the test cycle? Can it be expedited?
Different test items have different cycles, please contact NG28 online customer service.
If the migration condition is 40 degrees 10 days (1 time), then the normal test cycle is 12 working days. If the migration condition is 70 degrees 2h (1 time), then the normal test cycle is 5 working days.
2. Is it possible to use granular or powder samples for testing?
We are afraid not. Most of the test items are sampled by area, usually with molded products, sheets or plates. It is difficult to calculate the area of particles, powder and liquid samples. Plastic particles need to be made into sheets or plates for testing.
