According to the difference of functional groups, PFAS can be divided into perfluorocarboxylic acids with the abbreviation of -COOH (carboxyl) ending in A, perfluorosulfonic acids with the abbreviation of -SO3H (sulfonic acid group) ending in S and perfluoro acids with other groups. PFOA, PFOS, PFHxA, PFHxS, C9-C14PFCAs, C9-C20PFCA, LCPFAC, etc. all belong to PFAS.
